Cabrini Movie Review & Giveaway

Many thanks to Angel Studios for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own. Having attended parochial school as a child, I often found myself fascinated by the lives of post-modern saints. Individiuals, like you, and me, that helped to make this country, this brave, beautiful world a better place. Through simple, deliberate actions, brave souls bettered their communities, created peace, feed the impoverished, and improved communities the world over. It is in this same spirit, I was draw to view the film, from the directors and producers of Sound of Freedom, Alejandro Monteverde’s newest work, Cabrini. The powerful lifestory of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian immigrant arriving in New York City in 1889, and later becoming the Patron Saint of Immigrants of North America. Set in the disease, crime, and impoverishment-riddled Post-Reconstructionist America, a time when Italian immigrants to America lived in poverty and were denied basic rights to affordable housing and hospital care-deplorible conditions still seen in many of America’s cities, today.
